Catching Up, Saying Sorry, and Sharing Some Good News
I owe you all an apology — it’s been a little while since my last post. Life has a habit of running ahead at full speed, and over the past few weeks I’ve been swept up in promoting my books across Facebook, Amazon, and Goodreads. It’s been exciting, chaotic, and honestly a little overwhelming at times… but in the best possible way.
So I wanted to pop back in, say hello, and give you a quick update on everything that’s been happening in my little writing world.
Alongside all of that, I’ve also been quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) working away on my next book. The title is still up in the air, but the story is very much taking shape and I’m really excited about where it’s heading. If all goes to plan, it should be ready for release early in the new year, and I can’t wait to share more about it with you as things start to come together.
The Light Between Us
My debut novel — and the book that began this whole journey. The Light Between Us is a tender, quietly powerful story about how moments echo across years, and how the people we meet at the right (or wrong) time can shape us in ways we don’t fully understand until much later. Spanning decades, it follows two lives connected by art, chance encounters, and the pull of what might have been, as they navigate growing up, growing apart, and the possibility that some connections are never truly lost — only waiting to be seen clearly.
Seeing readers respond to this story has been incredible, and I’m so proud of how far this little book has come.
The Man Who Saved Christmas
This festive short story is all about rediscovering the magic of the season when it feels lost. After a chance encounter on a bus leads a young father to wish Christmas away, he’s forced to rebuild it piece by piece — with the help of his son, his neighbours, and one mysterious stranger who seems to know more than he lets on.
It’s cosy, heartfelt, and full of the kind of community spirit that makes Christmas feel like Christmas.
A Christmas List of Second Chances
Another short story for the festive lovers — and one especially close to my heart.
This tale follows a man who discovers that a simple, unexpected Christmas list might be the key to healing old wounds, reconnecting with the people who matter, and embracing a second chance he didn’t realise he needed.
It’s about hope, timing, forgiveness, and the quiet ways life nudges us forward.
All three titles are available now on Amazon, and I’d love for you to check them out if you haven’t already. Reviews on Amazon and Goodreads make a huge difference to independent authors like me, so if you’ve read any of my work and enjoyed it, your support genuinely means the world.
Thank you for sticking with me — more posts, updates, and behind-the-scenes writing bits coming very soon.
And as always, thank you for reading.
