Cover Reveal..

Small Mercies

I’ve been waiting to share this for a while… and today I finally can.

My new book, Small Mercies, is on its way — and I’m so excited to officially reveal the cover.

There’s something quietly magical about seeing a story you’ve carried around in your head become real. Writing a book is one kind of leap. But holding the cover in front of you — the thing readers will see first, the thing that has to capture the mood, the heart, the promise of what’s inside — that’s another kind of moment entirely.

Why this cover means so much

I wanted the cover to feel like the book: warm, hopeful, and a little bit “what if?” A story about choices, missed moments, and the strange little nudges that pull us towards the lives we’re meant to live.

The design is simple, clean, and intentionally calm — with the title written as if it’s just been penned in that exact moment. For me, that little detail sums up the whole idea behind the story: sometimes life can feel set in ink… until it isn’t. Until you’re given a chance to rewrite a line, take a different step, or finally say the thing you should’ve said years ago.

And then there’s the scene: a peaceful canal view, a bench, a bridge, the kind of place you can imagine sitting for a while — thinking about the past, the future, and the people who have come and gone. It felt like the right visual heartbeat for Small Mercies.

What Small Mercies is about (without spoilers)

At its heart, this is a novel about love, friendship, and second chances — with a gentle twist. It’s about those times you look back and wonder: What if I’d got on that train? What if I’d stayed? What if I’d spoken up?

It’s also about learning that finding “the one” isn’t always a lightning bolt. Sometimes it’s a journey. Sometimes it’s messy. Sometimes it takes a few wrong turns and a bit of healing. And sometimes the most important part isn’t who you end up with… it’s who you become on the way there.

Thank you for being here

I know not everyone realises how much difference it makes when someone likes a post, shares a cover reveal, or leaves a review — but it genuinely does. It’s encouragement, yes… but it’s also how independent books find their people. So if you’ve supported my writing in any way so far, thank you. I don’t take it for granted.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing a bit more about the story, the characters, and the journey of writing it — plus release details as soon as everything is locked in.

For now… here it is.

Introducing the cover for Small Mercies.
(And if you’re reading this on social media — feel free to share it. It helps more than you know.)

More soon. 🙂
